PPDT consists of two parts
(1) perceiving the picture and writing a story on it.
( Time given for perceiving is 30 seconds and to write the story is 4 minutes)
(2) Narrating the picture and having discussion on it to make a common group story on the given picture.
Preparation strategy:
(A) For perceiving and writing the story
To write good and productive story, a candidate
(1) Has to do some practice of writing story by taking pictures from any book of SSB
(2)A candidate must look at the picture carefully and make 3 to 4 stories on the same picture.
(3)A candidate should avoid self praising words because a man is known by his actions and not by how much he is praised.
(4) whenver you write a story think as if you are in that situation.
(5) Try to bring positive thoughts in your mind and as far as possible make a positive story
(B) For Narration and Discussion:-
(1)Speak in English as far as possible ( even at home with siblings, friends etc for improving communication skills)
(2) Speak in front of mirror looking at your eyes which will boost your confidence of speaking in front of a group and will ultimately help you in narration and discussion.
(3) Look at the forehead of people while having discussion if you cannot look at their eyes.
(4) Participate in group discussions.
(5) Have some discussions with your friends and family members.
