1. First and foremost, Never Lie. They (SSB officers) know a liar when they see one and they know ways to get the truth out.
2. Avoid being too Stressed Out during your tests and conference. Just enjoy the process, give your best and don’t think about the result.
3. Never be rude to other candidates, JCOs or anyone for that matter.
4. Never think of competing with others, instead compete with yourself and keep increasing the graph of your performance.
5. Always have logical reasons for the choices you have made in your life like career choices.
6. Be kind, helpful and positive towards your group members. Remember, anybody’s loss is never your gain.
7. While speaking , keep your body language positive.
8. Remember what you write in your PIQ forms, it may be asked during interview or conference.
9. This one advice from my senior I followed, never ever listen to free advises the repeaters have to offer in the candidate lines, not because anybody’s stupid or anything but you may get stressed out after what you may hear.
10. Never discuss your stories with anyone. Discuss it when you come back to the candidate lines.
