Discuss Ask Question

Mostly candidates try to copy answer from some one. This is the violation of SSB motto “Be yourself”. Try to come up with your own original answer.
Secondly candidates try to come up with such an answer that IO will get impressed. In this context it is said that SSB is looking for the “Right answer” not the “best answer”. (Right answer here means one that shows your true personality and not the manipulated answer that tries to impress IO)
The IO will not take your answer as a face value or the universal truth. He will cross-check by asking counter questions. (If you say playing cricket is your hobby. Then he will counter question- what is the length of the pitch? What is the weight of the ball? How is cover drive shot played? what do you know about bodyline controversy? Which controversial cricket dismissal is named after an Indian player?etc.,)
Thus, the candidate must have an overall knowledge of the topic. Try to have your own analysis, reasoning and opinion on the topic.
