The following measures will ensure one’s recommendation in first attempt:-
1. Do regular exercise
2. Read Newspapers and have wide knowledge on current affairs as to what is happening in our country and around the world
3. Do lots of practice on Verbal and Non Verbal tests from private websites like India Bix.com and also the Book by RS Aggarwal
4. Analyze yourself keeping OLQ on your background

5. Know about your bio data in depth

6. Practise WAT, TAT by yourself

7. Ask your parents, friends for your postive & negative points as it ll be used for self description test and mainly to improve yourself.

8. Join any reputed ssb coaching for practicing and familiarizing with SSB Tests

9. Confidence is key. Your appearance and confidence is judged upon mainlyShare

10. Honesty is the best policy and you are required to speak always truth only
11. Originality is acknowledged and appreciated. Be yourself.
12. Express yourself out there. Show them why you deserve to be a part of the Indian Defence force. Don't be shy, make friends
13. For the psychological tests, aware yourself of the kinds of answer they desire. Your answers should reflect positivity always. Do not write negative stories.
14. GTO judges your capacity to think critically, leadership, and confidence in yourself. Lead from the front in command task. In a group task if you do not have a solution in mind, be ready to listen to others too. Take the initiative, that gives you some positive points.
15. Lastly, during the interview just be honest about yourself.
