• Officers at SSB including interviewer are more interested in taking a person which will be useful to them and will adapt to armies needs and demands rather than fulfilling their own wishes. They are humans after all and they are given the responsibility of making sure a right candidate reaches the academy.

• So, an effort must be made by the candidate to let the interviewer know that you are the person who will not get fed up and irritated from irregular working hours, separation from outer world (friends, family, internet ,politics etc.), working in uncomfortable environment etc.

• And you must also let him know that you are a man of dignity, respects our nations culture and ethos, and are okay if given a routine but demanding living. This is more important for people going for upper age group entries like NDA, CDS etc.

• People rarely understand the view of an SSB interviewer and keep making their own assumption. They are not here to entertain you or make you leaders (you are made leaders in the academy). They are HERE to know that will you be good for army or not.
