I am sharing my strategy when I was preparing for SSB
1. Start your day at between 4–5 a.m and go for 3–5 km of jogging followed by 15 min. of meditation. This will help you out to plan your day. In better way and keep you energetic through out the day.
2. Read news from any one source paper magazine or mobile. And make sure you note down imp. points that can help you during your SSB.
3. You must have fair idea about what SSB is looking for (OLQ) and how you have to represent yourself in front assessors during your SSB. Take help of expert SSB workshop centres…. Gather knowledge about testing and understand process.
4. Mock interviews, psychology practice and feedback , GD lectures practice, solving OIR , solving GTO structures - all these are imp activity.
5. Know yourself better than anyone else. Your strength & weaknesses as well as positive and negative about every one around you. (e.g friends, family ,relatives ,teachers etc.)
6. Do give time to your hobbies and sports and get in depth knowledge about the same.
7. Work on fluency of your English with modulation in voice which is required during your PPDT.
8. Keep your body in shape.. Your body is reflection of your habits.
9. Always be honest with your answers but reveal only what needs to be known by assessors. Never be to verbose and outspoken. Practice this at your mock interview or in front of mirror.
10. Train your mind to find positivity and solutions for every problem or negative situations
