The aim of lecturette is not to get a mugged up oration on a prepared topic. So don’t wait for predictions as there are none.

The candidate gets an uninterrupted chance to speak, unlike G D & GPE where noisy discussions take place and  the candidate might not have got adequate opportunity to say a few words.

Be quick in choosing one of the four topics on the card, on which you are most conversant . Arrange your thoughts packed with facts and figures, ensuring that you can speak on the topic for 3 minutes.

Once ahead of the audience, announce the topic you have chosen. Explain as to what the topic means. In doing so, you cover around 15 seconds and would get over the stage fear of any. Develop your Lecture systematically, with speech moderation, looking into the audience from side to side, quoting facts and figures to reveal your grasp and knowledge on the topic.

After signal for 30 seconds left, get to sum up and conclude the lecture with an inspiring and positive note.

Don’t— look up or in one direction

Carry a smile and stand erect.

To prepare , choose any topic on current affairs General awareness etc. and practice in front of mirror. once you impress your self, your preparation is over.
