IN THE SSB, STARTING FROM SCREENING TO THE CONFERENCE, FEW DO NOTs ARE ..... :(PART II)

 

  • TAT : Don't write a preconceived story. Do not try to forcefully fit something in the picture. Write only around what is shown.
  • Do not write an impractical story. The character in your story is ‘you’.
  • Never, ever, try to write your story in short or telegraphic way as : D boy ws 15 yrs old & hs brthr 20 yrs. Also, mind your handwriting.
  • Don’t show a pessimistic, unconventional or atypical ending of the story.
  • In WAT, don’t write idioms, phrases, quotations, universal truths. They show lack of original thoughts.
  • Don’t use the word “I or Me” much.
  • Don’t give negative response to any word, try remaining positive as much as you can.
  • Don't write down the word, just write the sentence. You have 15 seconds for one.
  • Try not to contradict your approach on similar situations in SRT. There are always 2 or more situations that are repeated. Your answer should be same.DO NOT skip a situation in SRT. Come on, you can find some solution, if not a perfect one.
  • There are no right or wrong responses to a situation. It's all about how you see the problem & what's your approach to tackle it.
  • Don't exaggerate in self description test. Try not to contradict your true personality just to make it look cool. Remember, you're going to be asked the same things during interview.
