Yes, it is my aim as a repeater and my dream to join Indian army came to life in my 10th attempt at Bangalore.

      I attended Army SSC (Tech) 45 entry at Bangalore on 25 June 2015, previously I have been conference out for four time and rest screened out. Shankar’s SSB Academy, Salem (TN) has been a major turning point in my life and helped me to understand my flaws and able to expose my OLQs in front of assessors. Now I will share my experiences in SSB.

In day 1: I did my OIR tests with confident and I was able to answer most of the questions and in PPDT, I wrote a simple and crisp story and full positive based on the events happened in my life and I got only few chances to speak in GD but important thing is I never shouted , when I got chance I made use of it and led the group to a good and common conclusion and the result came out positive and I was screened in along with 26 others.

 In day 2 Psycho Test: With full confidence, I wrote TAT, WAT, SRT and Self-description. All I learnt and practiced in Shankar’s SSB Academy helped me fully. I wrote stories based on my life events. In WAT, I gave all positive and quality based sentences. In SRT, I gave 53 answers.

In GTO 1 day I participated well in GD. I spoke just 2 times or 3 not more than that and I never let my group to quarrel and in GPE I gave positive solutions and in discussion boys liked my plan and finally my group members nominated me to present group plan in front of GTO and I presented with confident. In PGT my performance was not so good I was not getting proper ideas, however I just coordinated my group and gained idea and as a group we moved forward. Lectureatte was very good. I spoke fully for 3min. My topic was Indian satellite program. Snake race was very nice and our group won the race and we finished GTO 1 tests in style.

GTO 2 day started with individual obstacles race. I was able to complete 8 obstacles successfully and then it was Command Task and our GTO called us in random manner. In my turn I called 2 best performer in PGT and my CT was very tough I made half way and I got stuck in between and I asked help from my subordinates and I felt bad, I thought my performance was not good and my morale was bit down. Any way GTO 2 day got over with FGT.

My PI was held on psychology day. My interview went up to 40 mins with all personal questions and I got more question from technical and I was able to answer most of the questions and for the questions I don’t know the answers I straightly said sorry sir I don’t know with a smile. He asked about my state, G.K questions, about ISIS, Ukraine issues etc. and I answered all the questions up to my knowledge.

Finally it was Conference day and I was bit nervous. We sat in a hall and deputy president came and gave closing address and it was inspiring. Then our conference started and it was my turn and all the assessors took a long discussion for 10 to 15 min and then I was called in, I went inside with full confident and wished the President. I was asked to take the seat and deputy president stared asking about my travel to Bangalore...... how many hours, distance etc. and he asked me whether I visited places in Banglore and I said sir I have previously attended ssb in Bangalore and I have visited places before itself. Finally he gave me a SRT and I gave answer with full confidence and my conference got over.

Technical officer came and announced the result and out of 27 three got recommended - 2 repeaters (including me) and 1 fresher.
