I AM A REPEATER. The following candidates are not recommended in the SSB:
1. Completely downplaying or ignoring the OIR tests - Not performing adequately or performing poorly in these tests can hinder your chances of making it to stage II.
So, go fully prepared for these easy yet time-bound tests.

2. Unnatural psychological responses -
How you put forward your responses matter a lot in your recommendation. Candidates who boast their hero of being a ultra legend , surely do not make a mark in the eyes of the psychologist.

3. PERFORMING INDIVIDUALLY IN A GROUP - Most of the candidates are performing individually in the group tasks. How efficiently you perform in your group matters a lot . Candidates trying to overshadow others or coming too much to the forefront are considered unfit for further selection stages. Try to render help whenever you see a chance.
The aspirants who over-dominate and demonstrate extra knowledge (which leaves other candidates with no chance of speaking or acting) during group tasks, do not get recommended.

4. NOT BEING YOUR NATURAL SELF DURING THE PERSONAL INTERVIEW - It’s okay if you weren’t a scholar in your academic career, or a renowned sports player. Candidates who never took part in an extra curricular activity but boasted of having won prizes for the same, do not please the IO (Interviewing Officer). It is very important to be true in the interview. An experienced IO can make out a lot about you even from your gestures, so fooling him with heavy and sound words won’t make any impression.
