FEW MYTHS ABOUT SSB # 6 - 10
Myths #6 - The most influential candidate of the group will get selected.
Not correct. By logical talking and good behavior one has to indirectly emerge as leader of the group.
Myths #7 - Moulded lies will fetch you selection.
Please don't bluff. It is very easy to identify such candidates by the experienced testing officers.
Myths #8 - One becomes officer after clearing SSB.
After recommendation from SSB one has to go through medicals, final merit list, training in different academy. There are people who are unable to complete their training due to several reasons and there are also people who could not become officer after completing their whole training.
Myths #9 - The Testing officer smiled, which shows that he is recommending me.
If GTO or IO smiled at your lame joke/dialogue, it doesn't mean that you are recommended. Most of the time when you try to manipulate him or try to become smart, the officer smiles on your foolishness.
Myths #10 - Sainik school, Military school, RIMC, SPI, AFPI, army background, NCC cadets are given preference over civilians.
Not true. This is one of the best recruitment board for any profession in India in terms of fair and transferent selection process. Trust yourself and keep polishing your self, you will make it some day.
