MYTHS #11  : Fluent English is must for recommendation.

Please understand the term “Power of expression” clearly. It doesn't mean command over a language but how you are expressing your self. It is about articulation of thoughts and confidence in your voice.  The GTO or IO  can understand you well  if you can convey your thoughts to the person in front of you that is enough.  English is language which a candidate should know but not necessary that he should be excellent in it.

MYTHS  #12  :  Personal interview and Psychology test are more important than GTO.

 Your attitude while performing GTO task, while discussing ideas with friends, during group discussion, individual lecturette/obstacles matters a lot.  In fact all three tests serve the same purpose, that is, finding  officer like qualities in you.

MYTHS  #13  :  Stories should not contain negativity and hero should be ideal with all officer like qualities.

Partially true, but if picture shown is a murder scene then don't try to ignore that, be bold and make story keeping in mind the same scene. Secondary, if you will read all OLQs one by one and analyse them you will find that those OLQs are nothing but qualities which every good human should have.  A person with open and kind heart has all those qualities in him.

MYTHS  #14  :  Assesment starts from train itself and all SSB staff (JCO, canteen staff, mess staff) in selection center are spy.

Not true. But one is required to behave in a disciplined manner / decent behaviour during or other than testing time

MYTHS  #15  :  Blazer and tie of reputed institutions like Sainik school and military school helps you to screen in.

Not true.  But it carries a positive impression for the testing officers on a candidate.
